The very first step to attempting to generate any type of online success is to create an online presence. The are a ny nmber of ways to accomplish this task. Any one person can take advantage of the many free storefronts to create an online audience. In my opinion this is the most difficult route to making an online presence, but we have all seen it work. The problem with opening up 'shop' and assuming your digital content will sell is the fact that you may have failed to consider who your audience will be. My advice would be to create a social presence for your brand. I happen to believe that there is not a better marketing tool than saocial media. In fact, most social media platforms are free of any charges. When used correctly social media will provide all the tools needed to tend to the needs of your growing audience. This will not be easy. Trial and error will be your guide, but this is to assist you in mastering the learning curve.
In general, social media, is used to market our most marketable assets. This is what sets us apart from the rest of the world. This is the idea I would like you to think about when creating your personal brand. What is it in my brand that will be the most attractive to everyone who views it? After asking this question try to all of the content, products, and services you are able to offer to others. You now have jusr about everything you need to build an online audience. Everything else will be used to grow and entertain your audience.
Building your audience will not be too big of a task. The best rule of thumb will be to place thought into the direction you are willing to go with your brand. Try researching what consumers in the market that you will be competing in have as a like. The can all be done through Google searches. You may not know where to find the exact numbers at first, but you will at least find articles that will explain the information you are needing at the time. Let's pretend well are selling ebooks. A good search engine search would be what to find what is the top genre of ebooks. The idea is to find the what type of digital books are generating the most revenue. Use this information and tailor it towards your audience. Most audiences like feeling as if they are a part of the 'in' crown. Making your brand as popular as possible can be very beneficial.
In summary, creating a popular brand is the route you are hoping to travel. Do this by building a massive audience through building your brand's social media. Your audience will get the word out to others on how useful you brand can be. This all can be easily done through platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and even LinkedIn. Used wisely you will have the potential to gaining a global audience. Having fans in more than one country equals more potential future sales. Clearly you see the importance of building an audience through building a social media presence.
Watching the growth or popularity of your social content can be considered similar to watching children grow up. You nourish the ideas behind the content. It is a constant battle on how to create better content. The future of the content is also often better in vision then the actual path of direction the content chooses to take. This can all be all be remedied through the help of some tools available to us all. Many of these sources may have a price to them, but I have dedicated the majority of this list to free resources.
For the benefit of all that have the opportunity to read this list, I offer the following sites as a great way to increase you experience in creating quality social content:
This site is the meca for anyone looking to make a beginning in design concepts. Try this site if you are all about creating social media content. The platform is super user friendly and stocked with just about social media template you can think of. An example of the types of templates available are YouTube headers and thumbnails, social media picture templates, ebook covers, magazine covers, facebook post, posters, etc.
Pic Monkey is another great place for designers not looking to take a full fledged graphic design career. The site is a hub for graphical design. It takes out all of the worries of having to purchase and learn a new program. While site is only for pay there is a 7 day free trial. This will allow you make as many designs as you can within a week before you cancel you subscription.
Stuck on an idea? Looking for awesome graphics? Then look no more. Freepik is a site just for the purpose of re-using graphics. Graphic design is a huge part of the social media, web design, and blogging scheme of things. I often visit this site a couple times a week just to see if I can come up with any ideas for digital content. There are two different levels of membership, free and premium. While both memberships allow complete access to content, non premium (free) members must give attribute to either the artist or freepik.com. The site also teaches members how to use the graphics, how to attribute, best programs to use (paid and free), and how to make use of such programs. I recommend this site with three thumbs up.
This site is by far the largest place of free .psd files and vectors. I do not have too much experience with the site, but I am able to recommend the site's content based of off volume. Never running out of material is just as important as catching the attention of others when using graphical design. Just like freepik.com the site has a huge database of content created by designers looking to have their artwork put to use.
The best way to use this site would be to browse through the material. The material will provide you with what will speak to others. You now have enough material to reach the followers of the content you use as an amateur designer.
Taking courses and purchasing new equipment and programs is always an option to find the right solution. This is the route normally taken by those in the graphical design career field. Another option would be to pay a professional to design all of you digital content needs. I myself prefer the third option. What is the third option? the third option is to cut out all of the middlemen and go DIY (do it yourself). I cannot guarantee a career in creating social media content. I will, however, state that these sites are a great place to start. It will take some practice to get the hang of things, but what doesn't. Give it a shot and see how far you get.
Do you think you are fully prepared to create a social media campaign? The answer you find yourself giving may surprise you. No matter the case, there are genuine methods of delivering awesome content to your audience.
Let's not be foolish. It is not a big secret that the content behind social media are just as important as the message being delived. This is because your content is the visualization concepts of every marketing campaign. This is the same for all content whether it is for social media, internet marketing, or tradition forms of marketing.
I would ideally picture the best methods of grasping your target audience attention. Why? I would like to state that it will be more than helpful to be able to pinpoint the exact characteristics of those you are pitching you ideas. Successfully selling your content takes laser pinpoint accuracy.
in order to hit the bull's eye every time with your social content you will need to know what you are looking for. Each market is different. There is a growing demand for business markets to gain popularity in social media. This level an even greater opportunity to share the same audience members of these big business that share the same marketing as you are currently. Here is were the social media 'To do' list will come to play. Make a list of everything you hold in common with bigger companies, as well as your ideas to create a better market.
It does not have to be magic. I would hold of on all of the bells and whistle. A good social media to do list will look like the following:
What are the current new trends in the environments surrounding your market? A trend can be just as important as the goods and services being provided. Staying up to date with trends can lead to new potential usage of your services.
Sometimes all you will need is a little bit of creativity. Anything can happen. You can get hit with writer's block, a time shortage, or lack of resources. There will be times that you will be stuck with what you have until better opportunities present themselves. Avoid this obstacle by being creative.
Post only content that only you have to offer speak a lot about your commitment to your social media audience. I states that you really appreciate having your audience members around. Thus, when contributing to those that love your content try to keep it original.
It is never a good idea not to take every opportunity to draw attention to your cause. Keep the content coming. Being attentive will provide a sturdy base for word of mouth. People with the same taste often discuss their interest within the same groups.
This is the most important step on the social media to do list. Try to stay in the loop with those competing in similar markets as you. Being competitive shows how aware of how the market enjoys making their decisions. The competition will think you are trying to steal all the market shares. This can be true!
This 'to do' list is a good example on where to start on how to create the ideas need to develop awesome marketing campaigns. I would start today on your very own 'to do' list.
